#12 on The Twenty-Eight List is... go to Boston.
I've never been and when I made the list I didn't really have any plans how or when I'd get there. Then yesterday I got an email at noon asking if I could make a 2 o'clock flight to Boston... there wasn't any other answer but yes!
A friend had great seats to the Yankees + Red Sox game, so we flew down and I got a little tour of Boston along with an awesome night at the ballpark.
Forget the shiny new stadiums... being at the old school ballparks is my favorite. But of course I had to cheer for my overpaid Yankees.
He also made sure I had my first Fenway Frank and we ate some of the best clam chowder ever. Mmm... such good ballpark food!!!
So, 18 hrs spent in Boston and #12 can be crossed off the list :)
Tomorrow I'm flying out to CKC St. Louis... looking forward my first trip to the arches!
